Our Culture

Enhancing our work culture through clarity in roles and responsibilities, professional development of staff—recognizing the person behind the position, the creation of a succession pipeline to ensure the transfer of institutional knowledge, and providing more volunteer and employment opportunities for youth.

Our Community

Improving the community’s experience through transparency and clarity in the work we do, tailoring our work to the various communities we serve, providing opportunities for active engagement for our youth, and working collaboratively with our external partners.


Our Work

Providing excellent service to the community through the development of procedures and standards for our employees and the public, expanding payment options for events and programs, proactively considering equity in our work, providing an online tool for internal communications.



Our Spaces

Strategically developing and maintaining our inventory through the creation of a work team to explore a pilot multi-service facility, developing a plan to address IT needs, identifying all BCRP green space, addressing public service requests, and developing a safety plan for employees and the public.

Addressing past decisions under today’s operational circumstances by reassessing past and current projects against current financial and staffing restraints to determine project priorities.
